Crash Recovery System VIN Edition

The ‘VIN Edition‘ allows the selection of the right vehicle by entering the 17-digit VIN number into the Crash Recovery System. The database with all the VIN numbers is stored locally on the computer running the CRS so that no mobile connection is necessary. The VIN database is maintained regularly on the same easy way, the vehicle database can be updated via an Internet connection. As a feature it is also possible to scan the VIN number barcode with a (cordless) barcode scanner so that the manual entry drops out. This barcode can be found in the edge of the windshield, on the door frame or the door itself.
