Newsletter: Crash Recovery Systems connects seamless with future eCall developments
In 2014 all new vehicles must be equipped with e-Call: a black box in the vehicle that automatically connects with the emergency alarm center after a crash. During this process, important information about the location , speed and drive direction is transmitted directly to the alarm center. Also, information about deployed airbags and number of occupants is included. Since the initiative in 2005, Moditech is an active member of the European board that is responsible for the e-Call developments in Europe.
