CRS case study: CRS added value during training sessions
Incidents occur on public transport but may also occur during technical rescue training. We sometimes see that cutting into scrap vehicles can lead to problems because the hazards contained in these older models are underestimated.
A high-pressure gas generator that is accidentally cut can have many dangerous consequences. But belt tensioners or cylinders also produce unexpected consequences when accidentally cut.
The Crash Recovery System can provide much insight before an exercise. By looking up the scrap vehicle in the CRS, risks can be identified, and the likelihood of accidents can be reduced.
