Digital form for transfer to towing companies embedded in the CRS
The Moditech Crash Recovery System will be expanded for the German market with a digital transfer form for the transfer of crashed (electric) vehicles to towing and recovery companies. These documents will be available as a digital transfer form in the next update of the Crash Recovery System to assist the fire service during emergency response operations.
Moditech’s involvement has made it possible to publish forms with ISO-compliant templates for proper handover to towing companies. By using the ISO symbols already known from the Crash Recovery System images, the emergency response operation can be seamlessly completed, from exploration of the vehicle to handover to the towing companies.
With the transfer form, the rescue services at the scene of the accident will not only be able to record the measures taken professionally, but also transfer additional information (e.g. duration of the deployment, temperature of the battery pack, etc.). This ensures structured, standardised and complete documentation for all emergency services involved, such as towage services, police and/or insurance companies.
At this moment, Moditech is working on the integration in the Crash Recovery System. It will make it possible to send the transfer information via email from inside the Crash Recovery System. We thereby contribute to a more multidisciplinary collaboration. From Germany, it is conceivable that this method will also be included in the CRS for other countries.
